William Purdy
Writer and Creative Director
Bio
William Purdy graduated from Southwestern University in 2012 with a degree in psychology. He was a graduate of the L.E.N.D. fellowship program at UT Health Sciences Center in 2016.
Over the years, he has held diverse writing roles, including contributing travel blogs for Houston’s SEO 411. Currently, Will works as a scriptwriter for Spectrum Fusion, where he develops commercials, promotional videos, and creative series. Additionally, he produces engaging content such as blogs and newsletters tailored for marketing purposes
Philip Thomas
Chief Editor and Videographer
Bio
Philip Thomas serves as the chief editor at Spectrum Fusion. He earned his bachelor’s degree in visual effects and motion graphics from the Art Institute in 2013.
Philip possesses advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and graphic design. He specializes in creating logo animations, commercials, and special effects utilizing After Effects.
John Karl Barth
Videographer, Editor, VO Artist
Bio
John Karl Barth is a videographer, scriptwriter, filmmaker, and general content creator who studied filmmaking at Houston Community College from 2017 to 2019.
He currently works at Spectrum Fusion Studios as a camera operator, editor, and voiceover artist, among other things. John Karl is the creator of “Spectrum Fusion The Show” and a host of other series produced through Spectrum Fusion Studios.
Gabriel Hood
Videographer, Editor, and Gaffer
Bio
Gabriel Hood is a videographer and editor at Spectrum Fusion Studios. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Houston Christian University in 2020.
Gabriel creates a series for Spectrum Fusion Studios called, “Autism in the News,” and he is also an integral part of the team on video shoots. Gabe sets up lighting and sound equipment as well.
MacKenzie McCormack
Lead Videographer, Editor, and Writer
Bio
MacKenzie earned a bachelor of arts degree in film and digital media from Baylor University in 2019. Subsequently, he obtained a master’s degree in English from West Texas A&M University in 2022.
Currently, MacKenzie serves as a videographer, editor, and writer at Spectrum Fusion Studios. In this role, he takes the lead on camera operations during film shoots.
Darren Logue
Videographer, Editor, and Gaffer
Bio
Darren Logue is a videographer and editor at Spectrum Fusion Studios. He graduated from Houston Community College in 2019 with a certificate in filmmaking.
Darren is proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition. Darren also leads the “Literacy Corner” project at Spectrum Fusion Studios and creates content for social media.
