How to become an intern
To initiate the internship application process, please send an email for an intake appointment to mediateam@spectrumfusion.org.
A member of our team will connect with you to further explore your interests and aspirations.
We will pose the following questions:
- Have you graduated from a film program?
- Have you participated in a film program but did not complete it?
- Are you seeking an internship primarily to gain experience to enter into a career in media production?
- Or, are you interested in the internship because of your passion for films and your desire to be a member of our studio?
Hierarchy for Internships and Employment
We value the talents of autistic adults and we do not want autistic adults to work for free. However, we cannot hire everyone who is interested right now until we have additional funding, so we have created a hierarchy for progression.
If you do not have any experience and are receiving training about production, the projects will not be paid. You will be mentored and receive hands-on-experience.
If you have progressed to participating in a shoot and are contributing to the production of a project, you will be paid.
If you have participated as an intern and wish to become an employee of Spectrum Fusion Studios, we will hire interns as part of our media team as our team grows.
